After Renewal of ISO Certificates “21001:2018” and “9001: 2015” Faculty Council Thanks Dr. Hagar Alam Addin, Manager of quality Assurance Unit

The Council of Faculty of Engineering, chaired by Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, thanked Dr. Hagar Alam Addin, Manager of Quality Assurance Unit after renewing the ISO certificates “21001:2018” and “9001: 2015” and meeting all the international quality standards in management of educational systems and quality management systems by QME for the second year in-a-row.

Prof. Ahmed Nasr appreciated the role played by Dr. Hagar Alam Addin, Manager of Quality Assurance Unit, adding that the faculty’s accreditation was renewed as it applied quality policy, and met all international standards. He declared that the faculty paid outstanding efforts in hosting a workshop under the title, “Anti-corruption and Cybersecurity,” where the importance of combating corruption was discussed awareness of, and highlighted the required measurements to reduce it inside the institutions. A number of topics related to corruption were tackled including; types of corruption, its reasons, and its impact on the institutions and the society. In addition, strategies of cybersecurity were discussed.

The course was lectured by Dr. Mohammed Ezzat Kamel, from the Illicit Gains Authority, affiliated to Ministry of Justice. It aimed to disseminate awareness of the importance of combating corruption, and highlighted the required measurements to reduce it inside the institutions. A number of topics related to corruption were tackled including; types of corruption, its reasons, and its impact on the institutions and the society. In addition, strategies of cybersecurity were discussed.
