Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, inspected today the exhibition of student projects submitted as a part of the applied study of the AI course for level one. The projects included 20 papers in variant fields in AI. The exhibition was held in attendance of Prof. Mustafa Al-Sawwaff, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Marwan Shahin, General Coordinator of Unique Programs; Prof. Amany Sarhan, Head of Computers and Control Engineering Department; Dr. Nada Al-Shennawy, Assistant Professor of Computer and Control Engineering and Coordinator of AI Program; and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shweimy, Assistant Professor at Computer and Control Engineering Department and Manager of the IT Unit; as well as a number of academic staff, assistant staff, and students.
During his tour, Prof. Ahmed Nasr commended the quality of the projects which reflected efficiency of the students, affirming keenness of the university and the faculty on coping with the requirements of the labor market via providing academic programs in different departments which provide the students with the required knowledge and skills. He added that the AI Program, with its different specialties, provides the scientific course in a mixed educational method which upgrades the efficiency of the graduates to cope with the requirements of the labor market, locally and worldwide.
Faculty Dean added that the submitted projects are applicable real and practical models and considered one of the most vital methods which provide students with the practical experiences and enhance their skills. He thanked all the staff of the program for their efforts in achieving excellence and leadership via providing an educational content that meets the students’ aspirations and the requirements of the labor market.
