In Attendance of Faculty Dean, "Digital Transformation for Office Work and Documentation Cycle" a Course at Faculty of Engineering


   Faculty of Engineering held a course titled, “Digital Transformation for Office Work and Documentation Cycle” on Monday, March 17th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Faculty Council Hall. The course was conducted under patronage and presence of Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, along with academic staff, secretaries of scientific department councils, managers of main offices, and officials of subsidiary committees. The course was delivered by Prof. Mohamed Al-Nemr, Executive Director of the Main Center for Electronic and Cognitive Services and Head of the Electrical Power Engineering Department at Faculty of Engineering.
   During the opening of the course, Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, emphasized that digital transformation in educational institutions enables all academic staff to improve the quality of education and enhance the efficiency of administrative and educational processes. It also aims to boost administrative efficiency by allowing electronic systems to handle routine tasks such as grading exams, managing schedules, and utilizing cloud computing for secure data storage and sharing. In addition, he highlighted the environmental and economic benefits of digital transformation, such as achieving environmental sustainability by reducing paper dependency and lowering the carbon footprint through minimized travel needs. He expressed his gratitude to Prof. Mohammed Al-Nemr and all attendees, and gave his directives to start using the digital platform of the faculty.
   For his part, Prof. Mohammed Al-Nemr provided a comprehensive explanation of the main features of the digital platform. He emphasized the speed and accuracy of the platform in generating reports and results based on the data provided by academic staff, scientific departments, main offices, heads of the department, and committee officials.
