Faculty of Engineering organized today an awareness symposium under the title, “Non-Banking Financial Activities” as implementation for the directives of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean; Prof. Mustafa Al-Sawwaff, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Yasser Al-Samadouny, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. It was held in the light of the presidential initiative to disseminate financial awareness among university students in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU).
It was lectured by Dr. Mohammed Al-Denef, Manager of Financial Inclusion Unit; and Dr. Amr Abdel Nabi, Trainer of Financial Awareness.
The symposium tackled the importance of non-banking financial activities for university students. In addition, it provided an overview of key sectors such as capital markets, financial leasing, factoring, small, medium, and micro enterprises, insurance, and consumer finance, highlighting how these activities have become integral components of everyday life.
