Architectural Engineering Department Organizes the Scientific Day of the Department


   Architectural Engineering Department at Faculty of Engineering organized the events of the scientific day within the framework of keenness of the faculty on supporting the scientific and student activities according to the directives issued by Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; under auspices of Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean; Prof. Mustafa Al-Sawwaff, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Walaa Nour, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Yasser Al-Samadouny, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; and Prof. Shahira Sharaf Addin, Acting Head of the Department. It was organized and coordinated by Prof. Mai Wahba Madkour, Manager of Quality Assurance Unit; and Prof. Nevin Youssef Azmy, Professor of Environmental Design and Control. It was attended by heads of the scientific departments, academic staff, assistant staff, guests from Egyptian universities, and an elite of outstanding graduates.


   The events of the Scientific Day commenced with the inauguration of the exhibition showcasing the projects and creative works of the students from the department. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, along with the Vice Deans, a distinguished group of academic staff, assistant staff, and students.
   The proceedings began with a welcoming address delivered by Faculty Dean, followed by a panel discussion led by Prof. Mai Wahba Madkour. The discussion focused on promoting a culture of quality in education and institutional accreditation, emphasizing the roles, responsibilities, rights, and obligations of students in upholding the highest standards of academic excellence. Attendees were then presented with an inspirational video featuring the personal success stories and professional journeys of department alumni, aimed at fostering continuous and constructive engagement between graduates and current students. Thereafter, Prof. Nevine Azmy and Prof. Mai Madkour delivered a presentation outlining the outcomes of the department’s inaugural workshop entitled, “Eco-Friendly Recycling and the Promotion of Creativity and Innovation”.
   The Scientific Day concluded with the recognition of top-performing students from all four academic years, as well as the formal acknowledgment of academic staff and assistant staff whose efforts were instrumental in organizing and executing the successful events.
