Faculty Dean Congratulates the Winning Team in the International Competition on Eco-Smart Innovations Held by Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport


   Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, and vice deans provide their sincere congratulations to the faculty team who ranked 5th out of 175 participating teams from different universities and schools around the world in “the International Competition on Eco-Smart Innovations” held by Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
   The competition exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Ismail Abdul Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy. Inauguration was on the sidelines of the events of the second edition of “the International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Smart Innovation (ICOMISI 2025)” which was held under the slogan, “Towards Smart Sustainable Future”.
   The team was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Gamal Mussa, Lecturer at Mechanical Power and Machine Engineering Department. They submitted the project under the title, “Smart Energy Management System and Optimal Load Demand Control Using IoT for Reliable Solar Microgrids”.
   For his part, Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, commended the students’ participation in the competition, affirming that such remarkable achievement is a result for their diligent efforts, continuous perseverance, and creative innovation, which was clearly reflected in their innovative project. He emphasized that they were excellent ambassadors for their faculty and university; in addition to their active contribution to the advancement and progress of society. He wished them continued success in their future endeavors and expressed his hope that they would always remain honorable role models for the faculty.
