Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Engineering Research, announced that the journal has risen to be 7 out of 7, according to the SCU assessment, for the 4th successive year.
He added that the success of the journal is a result for research excellence and is considered a coronation for the efforts of developing the polices of international publication, supporting environmental scientific research, and enhancing technical quality standards. He indicated that the journal publishes modern and updated research papers and has notable contributions in the area of engineering science as it is issued by local and international judgment including an elite of experts and scientists from national and international universities. He also provided his sincere congratulations to the teamwork of the journal and all the faculty personnel on this achievement, affirming keenness of the faculty administration on scientific publication. He added that such achievement reflects the abidance by the academic excellence standards which contributes to the advancement of the faculty and the university as well in international rankings. He stated that it is also a major step towards enhancing international partnerships to cope with the national strategy of higher education and scientific research and the state’s plan for sustainable development.
