Faculty of Engineering Hosts the Symposium, “How to Build Your Personality with Confidence” to Enhance Student Awareness


   As a part of activating the role of university units in human development and preparing a generation capable of leading the future, the Social Solidarity Unit at Tanta University, in cooperation with Faculty of Engineering, organized an awareness symposium titled “How to Build Your Personality with Confidence” on Sunday, May 10th, 2026.
   The symposium was held under patronage of Prof. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Prof. Mohamed Hussain, President of Tanta University. It was supported by Prof. Mohammed Al-Oqaby, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Director General of Social Solidarity Units at Universities, and Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development. The event was supervised by Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Mustafa Al-Sawwaf, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
   The symposium was delivered by Prof. Zainab Shuqir, Professor of Mental Health and Special Education at Faculty of Education. 
Prof. Shuqir emphasized that the symposium aimed to:
•    Strengthen self-confidence as a fundamental pivot of academic and professional success. 
•    Develop effective communication skills to help students face labor market challenges. 
•    Promote self-awareness and foster the development of a balanced, positive personality. 
   The event was attended by members of the University Social Solidarity Unit team, including Mr. Mohamed Sa’d, Coordinator of Awareness Activities, and Mrs. Nehal Samy, Protection and Economic Empowerment Officer. 
   This symposium is part of a series of developmental initiatives adopted by Tanta University in line with the Egypt’s vision of human development, strengthening the role of universities in achieving sustainable development, and preparing a generation that is aware of its capabilities and committed to serving its nation.
   The symposium activities were implemented through Youth Welfare Department at the faculty under the supervision of Mr. Tariq Al-Garf, Director of the Department, and Mrs. Amira Hussain, as part of the ongoing efforts to support awareness and developmental programs for faculty students.
