Faculty of Engineering Holds the Discussion of the First Ph.D. Dissertation Submitted by an International Researcher


   Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University held the discussion of the Ph.D. Dissertation submitted by the researcher/ Alaa Abdul Karim Safhan Al-Ruwaishedah from Jordan, marking the first time an international student has gained a Ph.D. degree from the faculty.
   The event was attended by Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean; Prof. Yasser Al-Samadouny, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; a distinguished group of professors and researchers; Prof. Metwally Abdul Aaty, Dean of the Institute of Engineering and Technology in Tanta; as well as academic staff, assistant staff, the Manager of Postgraduate Studies Department, and administrative staff.
   On this occasion, Prof. Ahmed Nasr stated that the discussion reflects the ongoing efforts and directives of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, aimed at developing advanced academic programs that align with labor market needs and attract international students. These efforts are consistent with the commitment of the state to enhancing the international student system, which serves as a key factor in improving the global rankings of Tanta University.
   Faculty Dean added that the faculty places great emphasis on providing outstanding academic and research services to international students, promoting scientific exchange and strengthening cooperation between Egypt and fellow Arab countries.
   The dissertation received widespread praise from the discussion committee and attendees due to its scientific excellence and innovative research approach, which combined experimental investigations with intelligent modeling techniques. The study was recognized for its valuable contribution to the advancement of smart and sustainable construction materials.
   For his part, Prof. Yasser Al-Samadouny noted that the composition of the supervision and examination committee reflects the careful selection of highly specialized and distinguished academic experts. The supervision committee included:
