Faculty of Engineering Announces Admission Requirements for Unique Credit-Hour Programs


   Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University has announced the admission requirements for its unique programs offered under the credit-hour system.
The admission pathways include the following:
1.    General Secondary Education graduates (2026): Students who obtained the minimum admission score required for admission to any Faculty of Engineering nationwide are eligible to apply, whether they were admitted to a faculty of engineering or to another faculty due to an error when entering their preferences during the university coordination process.
2.    Transfer students: Students may transfer from any program at the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, or from any public faculty of engineering nationwide.
3.    University graduates: Graduates holding a bachelor’s or equivalent degree from Egyptian universities or Al-Azhar University may apply.
4.    Graduates of private universities and higher institutes: Graduates of private universities and higher institutes may apply, provided that their degree has been officially accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities.
    For applicants covered under the third and fourth categories, the applicant must have obtained, prior to enrollment in their first university institution, one of the following qualifications:
•    General Secondary Education Certificate, Science-Mathematics or Science-Biology section.
•    Al-Azhar Secondary Education Certificate, Scientific Section.
•    An equivalent secondary education qualification.
•    Industrial Technical Education Certificate.
   All applicants are subject to the rules and requirements governing admission to distinguished credit-hour programs, in accordance with the regulations of the faculty and Tanta University, as well as the relevant laws and decisions governing admission.
 Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University invites eligible students and graduates to review the admission requirements carefully and complete the application procedures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
