Faculty of Engineering Organizes a Symposium Titled, “The Grand Egyptian Museum: Between Dream and Reality” as Part of Delta Region Alliance Activities


   Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University announces organizing a scientific symposium titled “The Grand Egyptian Museum: Between Dream and Reality” on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. The event coincides with the celebrations of the Arab Republic of Egypt marking the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum. It is also part of the action plan of the university during its presidency of the Delta Universities Region Alliance for the academic year 2025/2026, and reflects its commitment to achieving urban sustainability in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development and the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research. The symposium is held as implementation of the approach of integrating knowledge and expertise to serve the community, support the efforts of the Egyptian state, and enhance the societal role of Egyptian universities.
   The event is held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; and Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; as implementation for the directives of Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean.
   The symposium is held at 10:30 a.m. in the Architecture Seminar Hall next to the Consulting Center at Faculty of Engineering.

•    Prof. Nevin Youssef Azmi, Professor of Environmental Design and Control, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University
•    Prof. Mohannad Fouda, Coordinator of the Sustainable Architecture Program, Mansoura National University
