Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, extend his sincere congratulations to Dr. Nader Nabil Za’farany, Assistant Professor at Production Engineering and Mechanical Design, on passing the Training and Qualification Program for Faculty Members at Egyptian Universities to Teach the German Language (Fifth Round), organized by the Goethe-Institute (the German Cultural Center).
This achievement marks a significant milestone in the academic career of Dr. Nader Nabil Za’farany, who is regarded as one of the promising academic cadres holding advanced degrees from German-speaking countries. This distinguished background qualified him to be nominated by Tanta University to participate in the national initiative “Mainstreaming German Language Education in Egyptian Universities”, an initiative that seeks to open new horizons for scientific and cultural cooperation with German educational institutions.
Dr. Nader Zaafrani was honored with a certificate of completion of the program during the celebration of the German Language Teachers’ Day, held at the Goethe-Institute in Dokki on November 22nd, 2025. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Mustafa Ref’at, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, who presented certificates of program completion to faculty members representing various Egyptian universities.
In this context, Prof. Ahmed Nasr affirmed that this accomplishment reflects the strategic vision of Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University in supporting its academic staff and enhancing faculty development.
