Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University Welcomes the Students of Al-Salam Language School


   Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University welcomed today students from Al-Salam Language School under patronage of Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean; under supervision of Prof. Walaa Nour, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
   The visit aimed to introduce students to the various departments of Faculty of Engineering and give them the opportunity to closely explore the field of robotics, its growing importance in the modern era, and its role in supporting technological development. The visit also included an explanation of how robots operate and the ways they can be utilized across scientific, industrial, and service fields.
    The program included a simple and interesting presentation about the applications of the robotics and the modern techniques. Eng. Meriham Gerges, Demonstrator at Mechatronics Program; and Eng. Mohammed Abdel Hady, Demonstrator at Production Engineering and Mechanical Design Department, gave an effective and interactive presentation through which they replied to the questions of the students. They also simplified the engineering concepts to meet their ages which contributed to creating interaction among students.

   The visit is considered a part of a series of the educational, cognitive, and service activities presented by the faculty to the surrounding community which confirms its pioneer role in supporting the educational process and enhancing the communication with school students and civil society institutions in Middle Delta to participate in preparing awareness generations able to cope with the requirements of the scientific and technological future.
