Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University has announced the launch of the National Reading Project and invited its students to participate in the “Cultured University Student” track.
The National Reading Project is considered one of the leading national initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of continuous learning. It seeks to raise awareness among youth, support innovation, and develop the intellectual skills of university students, in line with the vision of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for a sustainable future led by Egyptian youth.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Nasr, Faculty Dean, stated that the “Cultured University Student” track represents a cultural starting point to enhance the intellectual abilities of Egyptian university students in line with Egypt Vision 2030. He also emphasized the faculty commitment to supporting the National Reading Project and expanding participation in it.
For his part, Prof. Mustafa Al-Sawwaf, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that the project contributes to preparing a generation capable of deep thinking and conscious analysis, which will positively impact the development of young talents in the New Republic.
Track Levels:
• Silver Level: Read 30 books – Prize: 250,000 pounds
• Gold Level: Read 50 books – Prize: 500,000 pounds
• Diamond Level: Read 100 books – Prize: 1,000,000 pounds
