Vision

The unit should have an effective role in developing information technology which supports the University in order to implement the major tasks which are.

Mission

Assisting and qualifying the Faculty in providing and exchanging information in electronically through the information networks directly and quickly, introducing new educational patterns and achieving integrated mechanization of the university administration and the educational process and preparing the university community to deal with them through continuous and targeted training.

Objectives

• Upgrading the efficiency and improving the internal information website at the Faculty.
• Upgrading and updating the infrastructure efficiency at the Faculty.
• Using the official e-mail of the Faculty for communication between the Faculty members and students.
• Using the official website of the Faculty for communication with all the parties concerned.
• Improving the educational process through strengthening interaction between the students and Faculty members.
• Transferring a percentage of the study programs into electronic programs.
• Standardizing the use of operating systems and software.
• Protecting devices against viruses.
• Using electronic transactions instead of paper transactions by raising awareness and efficiency of employees at the Faculty on the use of information technology.
• Upgrading awareness and efficiency of the Faculty members, students and employees on using information technology.
